About us
Kinopanorama is an annual cultural forum dedicated to the work of outstanding filmmakers from around the world and to their direct contact with Bulgarian audiences. Each edition presents a retrospective of the visiting director’s landmark films, accompanied by conversations, masterclasses, discussions and special events. Beyond the screenings, Kinopanorama encourages the exchange of ideas and creative experience, turning cinema into a living dialogue and a source of knowledge for audiences and future filmmakers.
Who we are
Kinopanorama is run by Teodora Lilyan, Yordanka Balkanska and Petya Chavdarova, united by their love of cinema and the belief that art has the power to broaden horizons and change perspectives.
Teodora Lilyan
Teodora Lilyan is a theatre director with a deep affinity for auteur cinema and for the dialogue between the arts. For her, direct contact with artists and their creative worlds is an irreplaceable source of knowledge and inspiration.
Yordanka Balkanska
Yordanka Balkanska is a television producer experienced in large-scale projects where creative vision meets high professional standards. Her feel for good stories, for detail and for quality content drives the development of new cultural initiatives.
Petya Chavdarova
For Petya Chavdarova, cinema is at once art, memory and an ongoing conversation between generations, cultures and ideas. She is the founder of Kinocult, an independent platform that brings great cinema back to the big screen and promotes film culture and the shared experience of watching films together.
